A recent, up and coming part of our business is the installation of environmentally friendly solar panels which are clean and efficient offering a cheap and reliable way to power and heat your home, 24 hours a day. The investment potential of solar powered energy in Spain has become big business recently with huge financial incentives from the government to produce solar powered energy to supply the national grid.
As the climate in Spain is ideal for the use of solar panels, a royal decree (436/2004) was passed by the king of Spain to encourage investments in solar powered energy, and in some cases, the government would guarantee the return of the original investment after a period of 4 years and a guaranteed income for a further 31 years.
Sitara has obtained government approval on land to build a solar powered generating farm, capable of supplying up to 25MW (enough to power 10,000 households) and is currently offering investment opportunities in this highly profitable market.
